Click N Kids Phonics and Spelling Programs
by Jules and John
Our family have used the Click N Kids phonics and spelling programs for all but the oldest of our 5 children, and it has been a tremendous boost to their reading and spelling ability. ![]() We looked into the LeapFrog games but didn't think they were anywhere near as comprehensive as Click N Kids, which has won a number of awards from educational institutions. You need a computer of course as all the coursework is online, but they come with lesson plans, books to read that compliment the system and a lifetime access. You can transfer to any other child and can even transfer the lifetime membership to another family when you are done with them. Some of the programs have 100 lessons in them, and I have friends who homeschool who use the Click N Read Phonics and Spelling systems as the base of their language curriculum. It is all developed by qualified teachers and professors in conjunction with the school curriculum, so you know you are teaching the correct things. I wish I had got the system when my eldest child was young, he struggled much more than the the other children with grasping the basics and now years later, We can see the difference in how they attack spelling a new word or reading something complicated. A lot of schools use the same system too - the Click N Read Phonics program is for younger children - up to Grade 3 and the Click N Spell is the program for children a bit older up to Grade 5. Our second youngest child is autistic and even he has mastered click N kids - you can see their progress online with reports etc. There is a 60 day guarantee, so long as you complete all the lessons, and if you think there is no improvement then they refund your money. Nothing to loose! We highly recommend Click N Kids as the best educational programs.

Annie RecommendsThere is so much confusing information out there about parenting, it can be hard to know how to cover all bases. If you are worried about your child's development in some areas, or want some ongoing expert parenting tips, then check out Dr Rosina's Inspired Children - Life Skills for Kids. She has a carefully designed membership program that will give you activities and advice, delivered to your inbox each week/fortnight (depending upon membership level). Each activity is designed to help your child develop key life skills like good self esteem, managing emotions and behaviour, health, nutrition, dealing with bullying and so much more.
Benefits for Parents
Dr. Rosina McAlpine is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, and has received numerous awards for her work in education. Her program is a holistic approach to child development spanning 7 key areas of life. I think this is a great resource for busy Moms - it takes ages sifting and sorting what your child needs, or finding a great activity that has a good learning focus for your kids. It covers all bases, and makes it easy to spend quality time with your kids, knowing they are learning valuable skills that will be with them for life. Life Skills For Kids would also make a great resource for homes-schoolers.
Featured SponsorClick N Kids would have to be one of my subscribers most popular programs, and from what they say, it is mostly because the kids have fun while they are learning. In fact they don't even realize they are learning! Click N kids are using the Looney Tune Characters now in their phonics program, which of course kids just love. Featured SponsorWall Candy Art
