EFT For Bedwetting
by Answer by Annie Desantis
What to tap on for a young child who wets the bed every night?Annie's Answer
I am not sure what age child you are referring to you just said young. So it may well be a physical developmental stage that has not been achieved in which case tapping may not be so useful.
If the child is over three then tapping could help. I would be very careful though not to make a major issue as bedwetting is very much associated with anxiety and creating a big issue out of it simply creates more anxiety.
Many children, and more often boys, simply do not gain sufficient bladder control to be able to wake to pee. So tapping on things like waking up if my tummy feels full, or I get a pee feeling, or tapping away any anxiety about sleeping or wetting the bed.

Any of the anxiety issues will give you some ideas, and you will have also been sent an additional script for a child who was highly, highly anxious. The more you know about what stresses the child, the more you can tailor the tapping to their issues. It is much more effective to use their words, and their worries rather than putting ideas into their heads, or using language that is not how they think.
And often it is the parent that is stressed over an issue, and sick of changing wet sheets, then Mom or Dad may well find tapping useful to lower their annoyance and frustration. Mom and Dad often contribute to bedwetting simply by the pressure of trying to help their child gain control. Night time toileting is often the last stage of toilet training and many children go well into school age with a wet bed from time to time.
Best of luck, report back if you have time, it is great for other parents to hear ideas you try and what works.
