Dirty Reaction

I went to change my 2-year-old's dirty diaper. She usually tells me when it's dirty but didn't this time, so I asked, "How long have you been sitting in this?"

Her response: "I'm sorry, butt."

Nutty Things From TV

My 2 year old Grandson always watches for a chance to make me laugh. He spilled some water one day and I said "You be more careful."

And he replies, "Well holyhockamoley Mamaw, what can I do?"

Funny! They are quick to pick up something that gets a laugh. So long as it doesn't become an annoying repetitive saying! My husband is STILL saying the comment that his Aunties thought was so cute when he was a three year old. "What's cooking good looking?" It is nowhere near as cute from a 60 year old let me tell you! Particularly when I have heard it a million times, along with the story!

Hopefully your grandson will have an expanded repertoire, since he has mastered a pretty complex quote!

How Much I Love You

Hi Annie,

I have two girls - aged Five and aged Two and a 1/2. I often ask them, "Do you know how much I love you?"

And my Two and a 1/2 year old daughter Zoey said, "Yeah, Mommy, I know .... all the way to the moon and back ..(pause)... infinity times."

I am not sure she knows what infinity is, but as my husband is a math teacher, she's heard the word and knows it means A LOT!

The Ring Bearer

This happened at my wedding!

My nephew was in the wedding party at our wedding. As he was coming down the aisle he would take a few steps, stop, and turn to the crowd put his hands up like claws, and roar.

Step, step, ROAR, step step, ROAR, all the way down the aisle. The crowd in tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit.

So much for my grand entrance!

When we later asked him why he roared at everyone, he replied, Jason (My husband) told me I was the Ring Bear!

Unfortunately no-one got a photo, because we weren't allowed to take photos in the church!

Spilt Milk

Ask any mother. The worst sound in the world is the sound of spilt milk.

It's amazing how far a glass of milk can travel - and they are always full when they spill!

I remember my son almost juggling to catch a glass of milk that he knocked off the bench. And he was so proud of himself for catching it. However, in the process the milk went all over his clothes, AND he knocked the container of milk over, saturating everything on the bench with milk! Would have been easier to mop the floor!
