Homeschooling, The Advantages and Disadvantages

Hi,

I'm a 9 year old boy and I am doing homeschooling. The advantages of homeschooling is I can learn about things that I like instead of things I have to do.

I used to get in lots of trouble at school. So Mom and Dad decided to try homeschooling at the start of last year. At first it was not very good because Mom was worse than the teacher. She was so bossy and stressed about what I had to learn. I nearly went back to school. So that is the big disadvantage is your parents might get stressed. But after a while Mom read lots of books and started asking me what I wanted to learn.

Now it is pretty cool and I really like science stuff. I have learned about frogs, planets, dinosars and now I am doing yeast experiments. I like cooking too and I make the best bread. My cakes are a bit funny though. I try experiments with cooking and Mom's only rule now is I have to eat it. Sometimes that is not so good. My friend James does stuff with me 2 days every week too.
