I'm A Keeper

Parenting With Love And Confidence
Ray W. Lincoln's latest book, I'm A Keeper, is a fantastic resource for parents. As a Parent Coach, I've used the Myers-Briggs Temperament Assessments with adults, but had not used it with children until reading Ray's book. It makes so much sense to apply the same understanding to parent child relationships.
Understanding temperament is very empowering for parents, giving them insights and tools to manage the challenges.
- Do you get frustrated with a child who knows how to push your buttons?
- Maybe you are concerned for a child that cannot seem to make friends?
- Perhaps your child seem to get his feelings hurt all the time?
- Or you may have a child that defies authority and rules and seems irresponsible?
This book will provide the tools to help you understand such puzzles and make the necessary changes that will change both your child’s life and your relationship for the better.
Discover what drives your child, inspires him to action, and excites his very being so that you will know how to motivate him (or her) to do the right thing.
Find out what is behind most of the conflicts in the home between siblings (and between parents and their offspring) so that you will know how to eliminate those conflicts with understanding.
Discover what your child’s strengths are and how to develop them so that your child will use them to feel the happiness that fulfillment of purpose brings.
Give your children's self esteem a real boost because they know you appreciate them for who they are, and help them celebrate the healthy pride of knowing that they are specially gifted for a purpose.
Ray provides a good balance of theory and practical application, plus a fast track section for those who just want to get stuck in!
This book is a great tool for parents - and don't you just love the cover!
