Inspirational Coffee Breaks For Women

I just love Julie's coffee analogy, and can totally relate to the special times with her Grandma being inspirational in her website and new book. The book?
"Inspirational Coffee Breaks For Women" by Julie Clark.
Whilst not a parenting books as such, many Moms need a bit of time out to reflect, and to recharge. And what better way to do that than over a cup of coffee?
You will love it, the coffee theme runs throughout, we have grounds for thought, grounds for action, and all important Java Jolts!
The second cup stories illustrate the theme of each chapter (called ground rules!), and the whole book is filled to the brim with creamy wisdom - no froth in here! (Can't resist following the coffee theme!)
Ground Rules Three (Chapter 3) "Get Back to Your Whole Bean (not Ground Down) Self?It Makes Life So Much Richer" is such a wonderful title, I'm going to post it with my collection of quotes. (to read with my cappuccino!)
Are you a decaf thinker? Julie encourages us to aim for the full cup, caffeinated version of life, not to choose a weak half empty attitude to life. Reminding us we have a choice about how we view the world, she challenges us to go 24 hours without complaining. Give it a try, I was a bit shocked, consciously deciding to be aware of NOT complaining, I realized how often I register things
I am unhappy about. I'm not a complainer out loud, but it really made me realize I complain in my head a lot more than I thought! I'm going to take that little Ground for Action on a regular basis.
Well worth reading this little gem, there are some wonderfully inspirational ideas to contemplate while you take a few minutes out of your busy day and enjoy a hot cup of coffee.
